Packing for College...The Bathroom

Hey guys, I’m here to tell you about somethings you will need to pack for the bathroom when you go to college. I guarantee when you get to college there will be something you forget for the bathroom, but I’m here to help you when it comes time to take the great leap and go to college.

To start things off is just a simple list of things you will want in your medicine cabinet.

Make sure you have:

• Pain Reliever
• Vicks or A Decongestant
• Pepto-Bismol
• Anti-Itch Cream
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Contacts/Solution
• Cold Medications
• Band-Aids
• Hydrogen Peroxide
• Neosporin
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Thermometer
• Q-Tips/Cotton Balls
• Any Prescribed Medication

Now when you are in college you are responsible for keeping your personal hygiene up whether that’s with a shower or with a bath along with washing your hands, so here are a few items to help you with that:

 

• Shampoo/Conditioner
• Body Wash/Bar of Soap
• A scrubby for your body
• Hand Soap
• Lotion
• Deodorant
• Body Spray
• Feminine Hygiene Products
• Any other hair/body products you use
• Along with Towels, Hand Towels, and Wash Cloths

Your hair says a lot about you and your personality, and in college it can be difficult to remember everything we need for our hair so here’s a short list:

• Hair Pick/Brush/Comb
• Straightener
• Curler
• Hair Gel
• Hair Spray
• And Anything else you use on your hair

A bathroom is something you can decorate, but you might want to wait until you know who your sweet mates are before you go out and buy everything. (also if you have community style you wont be decorating at all) A few things to remember to bring for decorations for the bathroom are:

• Bath Mat
• Shower Curtain
• Toilet Cover/ Mat
• Small Rack to put you hand towels on

Now cleaning is not for everybody, but you will have to clean the bathroom. When you first meet your sweet mates please talk with them on a bathroom cleaning schedule or designate what part of the bathroom you’ll clean and what part they’ll be cleaning. Now on to something to bring:

 

• Toilet Plunger
• Brush Cleaner
• Clorox Wipes
• Mr. Magic Erasers
• Mirror/Window Cleaner
• Foaming Bubbles for the shower
• Toilet Bowl Cleaner
• Air Freshener
• Mop/Swiffer Wet Jet
• Broom/Swiffer

Now this isn’t everything, but this is a start to complete the list for you just think about what you use at home on a regular basis. Throughout the year you’ll remember items you forgot about at the beginning and hopefully will remember for the first year.
