What's in my Backpack?

Here at William Woods we have 2 weeks until finals and the stress is building! We are almost done with our Sophomore year; half way finished with college! Wow! While I know it is close to the end of the year I thought it would be fun to have a post showing you guys what I carry in my backpack on a regular basis. So without further ado, what’s in Lacey’s backpack?

My tablet and keyboard
My computer is heavy and with all my classes but one back to back (ASL is on a different day but you can’t take notes in that class) I don’t want to be carrying it round all day. Instead I use my tablet and Bluetooth keyboard for in class notes. I take notes on OneNote making it easy to sync it to my computer when I study.

Binder
While I take notes on my tablet it is always useful to have paper, pen, and a place to store loose handouts. My binder has a folder for each class because my teachers are fond of printing things out and having a bunch of loose papers floating around in my backpack is not ideal.

My Bullet Journal
I wrote a post about my bullet journal here. But to make things short, nothing would get done if I don’t have this with me. It is actually the only thing I take to ASL other than my phone, keys, and water.

Water bottle
So sometimes this is in my backpack and sometimes I carry it but it is always with me and I make sure it is sitting in front of me during class so I am always drinking from it to stay hydrated. Gotta get to that gallon a day!

Cough Drops and Inhaler
In the winter I cough. A lot. I have cold air induced asthma which basically means I’m allergic to cold air so I always make sure I have cough drops and my inhaler in me. This may seem crazy, its April, why is this still in my bag? Well Sunday is it supposed to snow. In April. Welcome to Missouri. My inhaler is always in my bag.

Emergency pack
So really this isn’t for emergencies I just didn’t know what else to call it but basically it is a small bag that has a bunch of random things in it that I find useful to have. I don’t use these things all the time but I use them often enough to have in my bag.

·         Granola bar (food, duh!)
·         Pen (sometimes I forget my binder)
·         Tissues
·         Chapstick
·         Hand sanitizer
·         Ponytail
·         Band-Aid
·         Pads

Hope you enjoyed looking into my backpack with me and if you carry around anything else please let me know! I’m curious to see what others carry in their backpacks too.
